It’s no small task to design a logo. But taking on the complete identity of one of the world’s largest technology companies is a much more demanding feat. Moving Brands® walks us through the process of doing just that with the rebranding of HP.
The vision was to transform the world’s biggest technology company into the world’s most powerful brand.
I love minimalistic design and am a big fan of simplifying design in such a way that we don’t deal with clutter, and we are left with just the right amount of information to get the point across. This new HP logo works in a similar way. The world already knows HP, so even though the logo is made up of four slanted lines we still recognize the new logo more easily than if it were a brand new identity. See the full process here.
